The Polar Plunge is a Law Enforcement Torch Run signature event. It is a unique opportunity for individuals, clubs, organizations, and schools to support local Special Olympics Montana athletes by jumping, running, or slowly crawling into the frigid and icy waters of Montana. The first Polar Plunge was held in Whitefish, Montana in 1999. Since then the events have grown to 12 different plunges held all over the state with over 11,000 participants raising more than $350,000 annually for Special Olympics Montana.
We at Canyon Creek created our 1st Special Olympics team this past spring. We attended the local area games for track and field and had three athletes participate. The athletes, families, volunteers and I had a blast! We are so excited for next spring's games!
Donations can be raised online, with cash, or a check (made payable to Special Olympics).
We appreciate all the support!
